Poor Posture Can Cause a Lot of Problems

I am getting older, so I just accepted the aches and pains that I was feeling a lot more often as part of the aging process. My wife really did not comment too much about them because she was experiencing them a lot more herself. What she did tell me though was that I should see a chiropractor in Fort Myers FL because of my posture. She was worried that I was constantly hunched over, and she was concerned that about my posture not only then but for the future as well.

It is no wonder that I am always hunched over because I am always on my computer. Continue reading

My First Experience with a Chiropractor

I told my wife I was going to paint our house. Last time we hired professionals. This time I wanted to save, so I scraped and prepped for days. Then I went and painted the entire house in a primer to even out the paint job. Next step was the top coat. I used a brush and a roller. The brush was used the most. By the end of my project, my back was on fire every day. My shoulder hurt something awful from all the repetitive movements of painting. I went to see a chiropractor in Sacramento

I did not actually think the chiropractor would be able to help me. However, after just one visit, I felt like a new person. I had went from an office manager job to toting ladders and scraping, priming and painting my house. Continue reading

I Finally Got Back on the Job

I have finally got back on the job after about eight weeks. At first I could not do anything, they would not let me leave the hospital for a week and they were really annoying me there too. They had this alarm on the floor that would go off when I got out of bed, and they would fuss at me when I got up to use the bathroom. I spent that time in the hospital and after I was going to doctors and physical therapists and a chiropractor in Cumming GA who had to get my back lined up with the way it is supposed to. I Woke Up with My Back Stiffened Up

Isabelle and I had a really great weekend. On Saturday we went biking and had a picnic in the park, then we went out to see a movie and we had a late dinner at this great Mexican restaurant. On Sunday we got up early so that we could get a parking place in Echo Canyon. Of course you have to get there before the parking lot fills up and they lock you out. We went hiking and I ended up having to see a chiropractor in Phoenix AZ, although I felt fine until I tried to get out of bed on Monday morning. We had a great hike, although at one point in the climb up the mountain I did sleep and I must have twisted my back out of shape when I scrambled to avoid going over a ledge. I did not think anything of it at the time. I got pretty excited for an instant, because there was a real danger of serious injury or even dying from really bad luck. Continue reading

Out of Town Trip to the Chiropractor

I took an out of state trip for a seminar, and after the seminar was over, I spent the rest of my time having fun with Ruiz Morgan. I rented some roller skates and rode around for a while. I unexpectedly tripped and landed on my back. Other people rushed over to help me, and I told them that I was from out of town and needed to know the location of a good chiropractor in San Francisco that would be able to treat me. The people actually knew of some good ones that I could contact and gave me their information.

I was able to ride in an Uber car to the chiropractor. I had to use this because I didn’t rent a car while I was staying in San Francisco, and I didn’t want to pay for a taxi. The rates are much better, and I consider the driver to be a lot friendlier, at least given the experience I’ve had with taxi drivers. Continue reading

Slip and Fall on the Trail

I had to go to the chiropractor in University Place WA a few days ago because of something that happened when I was hiking with my friends on a popular trail. It was a trail that I had been on numerous times without any problems, but this time was different. While walking, a bug started flying around my face. I swatted at the bug with my hand many times, but it wouldn’t go away. I wasn’t paying attention to where I was walking and stepped on a rock that caused me to slip and fall on my back. The bug flew away after that and when I tried to get up, I screamed out in pain.

My friends had to help me get back up and I lurched my way back down the trail and to my car. It was something that I didn’t plan on happening, and to be honest, it was pretty embarrassing, especially since it happened in front of my friends. Surprisingly, they didn’t laugh. They just gasped out in shock and horror as the fall happened. When someone falls, they normally laugh, but I guess the fall looked so bad to them that they didn’t see any need to laugh.

I was able to drive home in my car and made an appointment to see the chiropractor the first thing in the morning. My friends came over early that morning to help me get in the car and make sure that I was able to get into the building. The chiropractor gave me some treatment and told me that I wouldn’t be able to do anything to strenuous for a while. It was a disappointment, but that’s what happens when the body is injured. I’m still recovering now, but I’ll be able to go hiking on the trail again one day.

Horseback Ride Sends Me to My Chiropractor in Oceanside

I would go up the stairs and make noise. I would make noise lifting something, and even when I got up off the couch or out of a chair. My wife said my vocabulary consisted of, “Oww,” “Ouch,” “Oh,” and a word she said she could not decipher. It was sort of a Charlie Brown, “Aaauuugh!” Those were my backache noises that were getting a lot more use since we went horseback riding a few days ago. I must have done something to my back, because it was not getting better. So, I went to see a chiropractor in Oceanside.

After an exam that did not reveal any injuries, it was determined that I probably strained some muscles and knocked my spine out of alignment enough to aggravate some nerves. I had some sciatic pain shooting down my leg along with a lower backache. I got some heat therapy that felt really good. Then they hooked those electrodes to my back to give me the muscle stimulation therapy. It feels like a buzzing in the muscles where they stick the electrodes on. Continue reading

Frozen Shoulder Needed Therapy Including Chiropractic to Fix the Additional Damage to My Spine

My shoulder started aching a few years ago. It went along for a long time with a pain that would not completely go away. I did not have insurance to get it checked out. When I got insurance, no one could figure out what the problem was. It finally reached a point that I could barely move my arm. One medical professional suggested it was diabetic frozen shoulder. I lost my job and did my own therapy at home as I was uninsured again. It resolved after two years, but I went to a chiropractor in Pleasanton to help me with the residual problems I was having with my neck and back after favoring that arm for so long.

The pain I had when it was at its peak is indescribable. If I had a reflex reaction to grab something or pull my arm away quickly, I would double over in pain. You might have heard of the condition as adhesive capsulitis. It is awfully painful. In fact, it is excruciating. I could not lay on my right side for about a year. Continue reading
